Saturday
Last night, I mentioned that we may have a gathering of some sort on this Saturday afternoon. It looks like the schedule for the weekend will not allow for that to happen.
So, please plan to be in attendance at Fusion on Sunday Night so that you can meet the youth pastor candidate who will be with us this weekend.
Cell Phone vs. Bible Videos
I hope that last night’s message challenged you to become more consistent in reading your Bible. I truly do believe that it is one of the most important things you can do to grow in your relationship with Christ. Here are the video clips from last night:
I was unable to embed the other video, but here is a link to it:

Bible Reading Plans
I hope that you all had a great spring break and are adjusting back to life back at school this week! This weekend, March 30, I will be speaking on “Is Your Cell Phone More Important Than Your Bible”, and I wanted to put up a useful resource to help you all get started on a Bible reading plan.
I believe there are few things in the Christian’s life more important than studying and knowing God’s Word. Here is a link to a .pdf file that contains 4 different 30-day Bible reading plans. One plan guides you through the life of Christ, another is for new Christians, another takes you through Psalms and Proverbs, and another spends 30-days introducing you to stories that you may not even know are in the Bible.
If you need a little help in getting started in your Scripture study, download this .pdf and pick a study to start working through.
Have a great week!
Resources for Getting Scripture Into Your Day
I wanted to post a few resources that might be useful to those of you who are making efforts to spend time regularly reading your Bibles.
On Sunday night, I mentioned a new podcast that delivers a “lil bit” of Scripture to your iPod each week. If you are an iTunes user, you can subscribe to the Podcast at http://www.alilbit.com.
Also, you can check out http://www.biblegateway.com and http://www.blueletterbible.com. Both of these sites offer many translations of the Bible, a Bible search so that you can look up specific topics, themes, and passages, and I believe that you can actually listen to the Bible being read to you….if you are really lazy!
I hope and pray that you are making efforts to grow in your relationship with Christ through the study of His Word, the Bible.
Have a great day.
